If you’re looking for THE bagel, THIS is THE place. ✅
As a bagel lover, Utopia is my favorite place so far. I’ve tried the other famous bagel places, but there’s nothing like this one.
It’s not only about the bagel. It’s everything : the employees, the atmosphere, the music, the vibe etc.
Every time in go there, I feel like I want almost work there. There’s something great there and you can taste it in every of their bagel.
My favorite sandwich bagel : the Worth It. Ok, maybe I’m not original, but I promise you that you’ll never find a low bagel as good as the Worth It.
Why ? The main product (the salmon) is incredible. And the cream cheese is absolutely tasty too.
It was such a peaceful walk through the surrounding neighborhoods to get here after hopping off the bus. This place is as legit as gets for bagel shops. They hand roll, kettle, and then bake their bagels so you get both the chew and the crunch! I ordered a everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, lox, tomato, onions, and capers. The ratios were perfect and they didn’t put a ton of cream cheese on it which I appreciated. To say it was perfect would be an understatement. The only thing that would’ve made it better would be if it was still warm and right out of the oven. It’s definitely a locals spot and you get that neighborhood feeling right when you walk in. They also have a fair amount of seating and a bathroom which is fantastic. I could go on and on about this place and if I stayed any longer, I probably would’ve got the blueberry bagel next. Everything looked amazing, and I hope I make it back here one day.
It’s the best bagel spot I have been to so far. The bagels are baked right on the premises. The bagels are nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and not too doughy. I have gotten a whole wheat everything with scallion cream cheese every time I have been there. The sandwiches are great too. They also have cakes and muffins that look delectable. The staff is attentive, and everyone is nice. There is outside seating if you can’t wait to take it home. Utopia Bagels has become my favorite Sunday go to place. I highly recommend.
Vibrant and super busy venue. Staff was eager to take customer orders. Menu has many options and I’m a bit overwhelmed.
Decided on the lox with cream cheese on a toasted poppy bagel. Excellent flavor, lox is fresh. Bagel is not as big as I imagine it would be.
I’m still hungry after shelling out $17.60 for the bagel & iced coffee. It was a good experience overall but I’ll probably get a bagel with egg & cheese next time…
I heard about this place on Tik Tok or YouTube that it was one of the best bagel places in NYC and it’s right here in Queens!! So I just had to try it. I loved the unique assortment of bagels options they had! I ordered one toasted bagel with cream cheese and tomato, just how I like it, and got another bag of bagels to bring home and their cream cheese. When I got to my car I was disappointed that the guy forgot to put tomatoes on my bagel. It was kind of disappointing. It’s not a really complicated order. But the bagel with cream cheese was fine. I thought the French toast bagel was quite interesting and they put that in a separate bag since it’s more fragile I guess. The bagels are pretty good so I would go again.
