As a seasoned food lover, I have had the pleasure of trying a wide variety of cuisines from all over the world. However, I must say that the souvlaki and Greek food from this particular food truck left a lasting impression on my taste buds.
Firstly, the value for money is unbeatable. The portions are generous, and the prices are more than fair for the quality of food on offer. The souvlaki, in particular, was a standout dish. The meat was tender, juicy, and flavorful, and the fresh vegetables added a nice crunch to the overall experience.

Didn’t know what i was getting until after i got my food and googled them. This gyro was the absolute best!! I never had a gyro with fries so i was surprised like what is going on lol needless to say i enjoyed every last bit of it and would definitely return
The Pork Gyro was solid. Chicken Gyro was a little dry. Their special salt & lemon seasoning was undetectable. The pita was really nice, good barbecue char to the base and soft on top. The lamb pita wrap was average at best.
Every Friday after work before getting on the train at 71st/Continental Avenue in Forest Hills,I pick up a chicken gyro for myself and a lamb gyro for my husband. King Souvlaki makes the absolute best pita gyros I have ever had!!! My husband first tried them in Astoria; but, we are thrilled to have the Greek on the Street food Carr in Forest Hills near where we live. Also, shout out the awesome lady who gave me extra pita bread to go with side of tzatziki sauce. This is fabulous stuff!!!
Place was recommended as the best Greek food in the area we are staying. The portion sizes are large and filling. The price was reasonable and the food and service was absolutely fantastic! Thank you for a wonderful meal!
