I came here randomly because I happened to be in the neighborhood. The food was great! Super fresh & tasty. Portions were good too. Spice level is low (in a good way!) it’s just enough to taste the flavor but not too much where it burns. I have a high tolerance for pepper, so I asked for more, they do have both pepper sauce & chilies if you ask. Staff was super sweet, accommodating & fast. Will be back. 🙂
As a real foodie, I always love discovering a new cuisine, and I found a new one in Astoria.
I really like Indo-Chinese cuisine and this menu reflects these regions in interesting ways. Nepali fare really feels like a fusion between two of my favorite cuisines so it’s cool to identify the flavors in every dish.
There’s something for everyone on this menu but I highly suggest trying the BUTTER CHICKEN MAC N CHEESE. A dish I have never seen before and can’t figure out why! Their butter chicken sauce was so good and pairs with the pasta perfectly.
Really enjoy this place for dinner. Iv had both sit down meals and takeaways now. Very friendly staff from the moment you arrive. Food is always very good, great flavours & they also have a good selection of drinks menu, cocktails etc. Very reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit
We’ve ordered out from here twice and it has been so flavorful and fresh both times. Also, the best cheese naan I’ve had in the area. The lunch special is a great deal, too. We will be back and definitely dine in soon!
The place is clean. Food tastes like my mother’s home cooking, less greasy and spice level is perfect. The owners are very friendly and hospitable. I highly recommend if you are craving authentic Nepali food in Astoria.
