Tried this place for the first time yesterday and was blown away. Great sized dishes, and service. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for Indian food!
Tried this on a recommendation – DELICIOUS! The staff are very friendly, and the Rogan Josh lamb was just right. We ordered it medium spicy, which was perfect heat. Also the garlic naan was authentic and fresh. We’ll be back again!
We ordered tandoori chicken, several kinds of Naan, lamb mushroom curry, and basmati rice. The food was excellent, the food is always fresh (not frozen and thawed), and the service was awesome. We couldn’t finish everything, so we took the rest to-go. The owner came over to greet us and explained she has another location near Glen Cove, so that may be where we’re headed next. Definitely recommend trying this spot! *NOTE – They close for a bit between lunch and dinner, so come back after they reopen 😀
Used to be so good. I love Indian food. The meat samosas tasted off. The chicken in the briyani was very dry. The chicken Tikka masala had a weird flavor and the tamarind sauce was watery. I will not return.
Food used be better. I think they have some newer cooks. Not nearly as good as the older ones. Chicken dishes were very bland and without much taste. We found this true the last few times as we wanted to give another chance. Too bad, used to love this restaurant
