This is one of the finest taquerias in Western New York. The hostess is pleasant, and helpful, she made some wonderful recommendations. Top notch carnitas, barbacoa is excellent. The al pastor is enhanced with grilled onions, something many other versions of the same taco are regretfully missing.
My wife and I found this restaurant while traveling the Thruway. We really enjoyed our meal here. I had taco al pastor, which I highly recommend, and my wife had the fajita burrito, which she loved. We finished by splitting a tres leches. When I did work in Mexico, I remember that the best meals that I had in Veracruz were the ones served in places like Los Compadres: nothing fancy for decor, but truly delicious food. We’ll come back again.
I just wanna start by saying, I love food. Whenever I go to a new city or place, I always try the food. I absolutely love food and the way brilliant people figure out how to make it so good. That being said, this place is without a doubt one of the BEST places I have ever eaten at. I was stuffed and still eating because of how great it was. Please please please support this local business and their exceptional cuisine.
What am awesome find❗ All the five star ⭐ reviews are on point❗ The atmosphere, the food are all spectacular. The steak is marinade in their spices, so it had a unique unexpected in a good way flavor. If given the choice between a traditional steak cooked in salt and pepper or their version. I’d choose this anyway❗ Meat lovers steak dish was fantastic❗ Very filling. The restaurant was nice and cool on a hot day. Bravo to the proprietor❗ Home cooked food/flavor coupled with friendly people❗
I feel like I got robbed.
37$ for 8 tacos no drinks. They’re bare bone tacos with nothing on them they make you put all the toppings on and get all the sauce, so it’s 37$ for corn tortillas and meat that doesn’t even look that good. But what’s entirely more insulting is a $0.50 “To-Go” charge that they’ll tack on for the service of getting them to put it in a container for you.
The place across town charges half as much and puts the taco together for you. Go there you’ll be much better off.
