5 Reviews on “Taste of Italy Pizza”
Sometimes, usually on a weekday, their pizza is very good: nice and saucy, with just the right amount of crisp to it; other times it’s too doughy and mediocre at best (experienced generally on weekends). It’s that kind of, luck of the draw, roll of the dice, type of place.
Stopped by after an appt that was across the street. I gave them 4 on service because although I was like 1 of 2 customers in there took them a min before they acknowledged me kinda felt hmmmmmm but took the next person order right away!? ….I ordered what I thought was special 2 slices and 1 can soda for like $7. Somehow when I asked for Pepperoni on the slice it went from $7 to $13 which $5 for Pepperoni they bugging but since they already made my pizza I was like okay. If you gonna advertise something let me know b4 paying 5 more. The pizza was good but not for 7. Pizza should never be more that 3 or 4 a slice I’m sorry.
A restaurant that repeatedly serves burned food to regular (or new) customers in NYC’s competitive food market is just begging to go out of business. Crystal ball says: NO FUTURE – Just another restaurant gone from 4 stars to CLOSED PERMANENTLY. Disappointing because their pinwheels and sautéed broccoli w/garlic are best in town, when cooked properly.
I hope a manager reads this to implement better food quality controls (if there is any at all) before it’s too late.
I will add photos of the burned food next time. I unfortunately already dumped it today out of hanger.
The owner over charged me for my order on purpose today. He did this once before and I let it go but not today. I gave him my credit card number and he didn’t tell me how much he charged me. When the delivery boy delivered
my food he had a check with my address and my credit card information but not how much he charged me. There were no prices of how
much each item was. I called the store and they gave me the run around. They didn’t tell me how
much they charged me. I had to look at my on line banking to see they charged me 33.34 I added each item up and came to 23.00 and he charged me 33.34. When I called him back he made up all lies and was very guilty. I am reporting him to the better business bureau . So be careful what he is charging you. He is a crook
.
Awful costumer service. The guy that takes order and processes the payments is always rude ( I think he’s Latino) he’s always in a terrible mood. He’s not polite at all and of course 0 manners !!! I wonder why he’s still working there..?! He got mad because I asked him for my receipt after I paid for my meal. Seriously?
