Had an impromptu dinner at Billie’s after a day at the LIM. We ordered a few appetizers to share as our meal: the big pretzel, honey sriracha brussel sprouts, and chicken wings. Pretzel was indeed BIG, and was soft and chewy. The wings were good, but could have been a little crisper (but that may be a personal preference). Brussel sprouts were actually the stand-out dish. So crispy, sweet, spicy, and a little smoky thanks to the chunks of bacon. We could have eaten three orders of just the sprouts, honestly. Service was great, and the atmosphere was very relaxed and cozy.
Had a great time and a real nice burger! The beer was ice cold and served up with charisma and local knowledge by Vinny. When visiting Port Jefferson definitely stop in this historic building and enjoy the local charm. Vinny has great taste in music and doesn’t leave you with an empty glass!
Cool Irish pub with brunch specials! The mimosa was pretty standard/not super flavorful. Obv I only paid $5 so that’s somewhat expected but next time I’d def have the Bloody Mary or a different cocktail. I had corned beef hash and a mimosa. The corned beef hash was also good-diner type quality nothing beyond standard fare. Again this was a special brunch plate so I didn’t pay a big price either. Great service and atmosphere.
Peter the server and Peter the barback were fabulous. Best burger in port Jefferson by far. I’m amazed. We tried the wedge salad and steak sandwhich as well- we are very impressed. Can’t wait to return. Thank you Peters!

Probably the second worse burger Ive had in the last 12 months.
Pat LaFrieda meat, the meat they claim they use for burgers, is not supposed to be tastless.
The burger was tasteless, and way over cooked
The restaurant was woefully understaffed.
They didn’t even have the reservation for 10 people , that I made a month ago, and confirmed, twice
10 meals, 7 of which were burgers
All the burgers were overcooked, 1 grilled cheese was almost cheese less, 1 chicken skewer was bone dry and 1 turkey sandwich was unremarkable
That’s all I’ll say
One n done with Billies 1890, Port Jeff..
Useless reply from Management, when I wrote to them about the horrible experience..
Never again
