There are Italian restaurants and then there are places like Brother’s Trattoria. Homemade, scratch made, authentic Italian. My group went on a busy Friday night at 7pm and had an excellent experience.
Our waitress told us everything was made to order which was great news. We started with the calamari which was fresh given it was so crispy, you could tell it wasn’t sitting there all day.
Entrees we’re two specials, veal saltimbucco, veal franchise, and chicken franchise. Everything was phenomenal, but I seriously cannot describe how delicious the chicken and veal franchise was. It was fresh, delicious and made with a lot of Italian love. We topped the night off with dessert and espresso martinis. An truly delicious meal that I would return to eat again and again!!
Lovely new year dinner, if a bit rushed by the waiters. Fried Calamari was good, as well as the bread basket. The Trattoria de Pappardelle was exceptional, but the Chicken Parmigiana a bit disappointing. It was a bit too overloaded with sauce and cheese, and the accompanying pasta was bland. Good wine selection and acceptable prices for the quality of our meal.
Brother’s does a great job. It has a cozy interior and attentive staff and lots of love goes into the food. I don’t give out many 5’s but the carbonarra was really top notch. My wife tries this dish every where we go and she savored each bite. The carbonaara was a nice creamy texture perfectly complimented with the hints of smoke from the bacon. I had the chicken a la brothers which was also really nice.

Oh, what a night! I never ate so much and I enjoyed every single bite! We frequently visit the Beacon area and we decided to give Brother’s Trattoria a try. Whew, did they deliver. Each dish was fabulous! I’m sure my jeans stretched after this meal, next time I’ll be wearing elastic. Excellent service, great ambiance, and the wine list is superb! Perfect place for dinner with friends!
The rigatoni carbonara was incredible and Kenny really made sure we had a wonderful experience with our entire family. An absolute must stop for Italian in Beacon
