Good food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. The French toast, toast with goat cheese, and vegan pancakes were all good. I’m glad the person at the counter let me know that the pancakes would have a different texture because of the almond flour so I wasn’t put off by it; the flavor was really good so that made up for them not being fluffy.

Fantastic zucchini muffins, oat milk lattes & avocado toast. I never eat potatoes but this time was an exception. Thanks & pics show halfway through.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Lovely little cafe on a corner, right down by the marina. From the moment we arrived, we knew it would be good, probably because our server, Kai, was so friendly and helpful. My wife has a severe gluten allergy, but Kai assured us that everything on the menu could be made gluten free! We both had the egg and avocado on focaccia sandwich and it was just out of this world. I had the pistachio latte which was fantastic. And my wife had a caramel latte which was amazing as well. We sat outside and enjoyed the morning chatting and taking in the fresh air and sunshine. Could not have been a nicer experience.

My husband and I were in Port Jeff for a day trip. Before arriving, I did searches for where we could have breakfast so we were looking for the cafe based on the positive reviews I had seen online. We were not disappointed. The egg avocado toast I had and my husband’s egg sandwich were both amazing. Sorry, no egg sandwich photo; it had been devoured very quickly.
Not only was the food fresh, flavorful and very delicious, it sustained us both for the entire afternoon.
The day was brutally hot, and we ended up taking the train back to NYC earlier than planned but we’ll definitely return to Port Jeff when it’s cooler, and we already know where we’ll eat.
This cafe offers a variety of options for both breakfast and lunch as well as great coffee and chilled beverages, and great looking deserts. Based on how empty the display was at 11am, those deserts are as tasty as they look.
It’s a clean and cozy spot with a laid back atmosphere.
    A 5 star ⭐️ review from us!

Food: I got food poisoning from my avocado egg toast. Tummy started gurgling about an hour after the meal. It’s now been more than 48 hours, sigh, and I’m still plagued.

Service: Employees do the bare minimum. Adequate but nothing to be positively impressed by.

Atmosphere: Noisy. When I was there, on Monday around 11am, there was a guy w/ his laptop, openly yakking on his phone at great length. The staff dragged the screechingly noisy metal chairs across the floor rather than lift them up.

Also, the cutlery is all plastic, and it was quite difficult to cut my poisoned toast. (Plus, not environmentally friendly!)
