The staff was nice, the portions (i mean one onion rings was bigger then my hand) were large! And priced nicely. The flavor.. bland..but descent.
Decided to eat Local. Short wait to be seated. Nice cold glass of draft beer so off to a good start!
Onion rings were delicious but stuck for a half portion which was 4 huge rings and a big helping of honey mustard sauce.
Wife ordered Chicken Riggies which came in a huge portion size.
The star of the night was my beer battered haddock. I’m British and have missed having a good fish and chips. The fish was fresh and delicious and the best I’ve had around these parts.
Only downer was they ran out of coconut cream pie 🙀
Support a local business and come back to Teddies!
I’m surprised this place isn’t busier than it is. It’s a friday night and it’s really quiet but the food is delicious. I wish they still had their tollhouse pie. My server was very very nice and the riggies were the perfect amount of spicy and creamy. The bread it came with was soft and tasty too. My waitress was very timely and checked on me often. Great food but it was a bit pricey. The card fee really hit me the most tbh.
Tried this establishment based on the reviews. It is clean. The staff is friendly. The food is uninspired. Yes, the onion rings are big. The batter is bland. Apparently, the same bland batter is used on the fried fish.
If you are looking for tired American food, this is a great place to bring your older family members.
Despite the mixed reviews, my boyfriend and I decided to give Teddy’s a try last weekend. It is safe to say Teddy’s is no longer what it used to be – I frequently visited Teddy’s on a Friday or Saturday evening growing up with my family, and had so many memories made here. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will never be coming back.
For dinner, I ordered the fish fry – the only decent part of my dinner was the coleslaw. The fish was terrible and over fried, and the lack of french fries was despicable. But to top it off, my boyfriend’s entrée is what left me furious. I wish I took a picture beforehand but I took one after. He ordered the Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo. For over $21.00, this should have been a big bowl – it was so small and almost looked like an entrée from a kids menu! He is not a big eater to begin with and finished this meal in just a few bites. Attached is a picture of the dish this entrée arrived in. There was hardly any pasta (something so inexpensive) nor chicken… For the price of this dish, it should be served in a deep bowl with an abundance of pasta, chicken, and broccoli.
We both left starving!
