Adorable cat cafe with several playful cats and kittens. I believe there were 13 cats when I went. All were available for adoption. The cats were really sweet, interactive, and playful. Lots of toys and an enriching atmosphere for them.
You can’t bring food/drinks in with you to the cat room. I’d suggest grabbing your goodies and treats after your cat time.
I booked and filled out the waiver online. Check-in took less than a minute, including making a drink purchase.
We really enjoyed our visit today. Many of the cats were chilling out, but they were friendly, and quite a few were even playful! The atmosphere was nice, with just the right amount of play things, towers & climbers and cat-trees. In an area separated from the cat room, there’s a selection of yummy snacks and beverages, with a nice variety of moderately priced merchandise.
So the perks to this place are being able to spend time with the cats. 4 of us went, and we decided to try some of the baked goods and drinks… unsure if the lady that was behind the counter was the owner, but my fiancé bought his coffee first and it was almost like she forgot about him, we kept making comments indicating he did not receive his coffee and it was like it didn’t click to her. We were the only ones in the cafe at the time, so it wasn’t like she was overwhelmed with customers. After we all got our stuff (as we paid for it)…he had to approach her for his coffee….she never gave me my change back from my purchase which did irritate me but I hope it just goes to the kitties and the hot chocolate was not good at all.
Due to my fb post, many of my friends are visiting this location, so I know I helped to get the word out to help the kitties that are staying there.
The room for the kitties is separate, and you can pay per 1/2 hour $15.
The room did have a smell to it, but you get used to it. The setup is ideal for all the cats and spacious. Every kitty there is available for adoption. Some are bonded as well.
All in all, it was a great experience playing with the cats and interacting with them. I do not, however, recommend eating there….
But certainly pay a visit and maybe consider adopting.
Staff.are so nice, my daughter and I love playing with that cats we haven’t quite found the ONE we want to adopt yet. Treat yourself to play with the kitties and be sure to get a dessert they are delicious! Wonderful good vibes here 🥰
I came with a friend just to experience the concept. We are so lucky to have a cat lounge in rotterdam! $15 for 30 minutes is very reasonable. Each cat has a story and a very unique personality. If you’re interested in adopting, looking for some stress relief or just want to try something new I recommend checking this very cute cozy spot out. They have benches, rugs and a cozy chair to sit in with the cats.
