5 Reviews on “Jack s Stir Brew Coffee”
I needed a cold brew with a kick to give me life after a classics too much fun in the Hamptons night and Jack’s delivered. It was strong, fresh, cold, and delicious. Oh and talk about plenty because this thing was big. I unfortunately did not have an appetite because #hungover but this cold brew brought me back to life. I’ll be back to try some of their vegan bakery items.
Consistent and good coffee. Cortado was made quickly and correctly. Staff noticed someone spilled a small bit of their coffee at the sugar/milk station and they offered to top it off unprompted. Line moved very fast, virtually no wait with a line consistently to the door.
THE MOST OBNOXIOUS BARISTA EVER! If I could give this place a zero I would. $6 cold brew filled with all ice. God forbid you ask for some coffee with your large glass of frozen water, that was enough to send the miserable impatient barista over the top. She actually threw my cup in the sink and gave me a coffee 3 quarters full with two ice cubes just to make some point. When I told her to FILL IT UP…well, I can still hear her screaming at me as I walked out the door. Don’t do it. Go down the street and get a coffee for half the price. Whoever owns this place, you might want to train your staff because I will never come back.
I got an iced dirty Harry that was absolutely delicious and really well-balanced. The barista was really patient because it took me forever to order and I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who likes darker bitter espresso like I do. Full flavored and actually tasted like coffee!
Last summer I assumed that Jacks being perpetually understaffed was a result of it being a new location. Unfortunately, upon returning for a coffee on Memorial Day weekend and seeing just one worker, I was proven wrong. I watched multiple customers give up and leave the long line, even people asking for refunds or for their orders to be cancelled. After waiting for 20 minutes to place my order, the barista asked the entire line of customers to leave the store and ‘come back later’ because they were too backed up. I feel the most bad for the workers here, you can’t staff one person to take online orders, in-store orders, and make all of the coffees on one of the busiest weekends of the year!
