We just got back from having lunch at Wild Fig’s newest location in Bayside and was so every impressed by everything. This is a fast casual restaurant offering Mediterranean food that just opened recently. We got a Mixed Meat Pide, a customizable Salad Bowl with grilled meatballs, pistachio baklava and a walnut baklava. The Pide is an oval flatbread Turkish pizza and it was topped with pieces of chicken, steak, meatballs, tomatoes and mozzarella. It’s cooked to order in a big gas oven, was so delicious, and a bargain at $11. This could easily feed two people. For the salad bowl we choose to get hummus, spicy feta, tomato and cucumber salad on a bed of lettuce. The salad bowl also comes with your choice of a toasted flatbread or pita chips. All of the ingredients tasted so fresh and delicious. The baklava was a nice way to end the meal. Both were very sweet, sticky and nutty; honestly couldn’t taste much difference from either pistachio or walnut.
Overall, it was a very satisfying healthy meal.

Great selection of Mediterranean food specifically salads, soups, flat breads and pides. Their lunch special salad bowl, with rice, chose of meat steak, chicken, to name a few. They offer freshly baked pita bread as part of the lunch. The food is always fresh and plentiful. This is one of my favorite spots to get a reasonably priced lunch spots. I never leave anything left on my plate.
It’s like a Mediterranean Chipotle but better quality!! So good!!! There was a sort of flatbread pizza type thing that was super yummy. Plus the bowl I could mix greens and grains and then add whatever meat and toppings I liked. For dessert the baklava had two options: walnut or pistachio. Both great!
Not as good as the other Wild Figs. Food and portion sizes are OK, but for some reason this location is always empty and they limit you to only 2 half-size sauces per bowl. They consistently do not give more sauce than that.
i’ve never had mediterranean food so i had no idea what to expect but this was super yummy, would recommend!
i got: half salad (tossed in balsamic) and chickpea rice (personally not a fan) with chicken (this was great!!). I also got spicy feta (would recommend), banana peppers (added a sour and spicy kick), and cucumbers + tomato. I also got the yogurt dressing which was okay, it just kinda feels like sour cream but i was expecting sweetness for some reason.
overall: i think this place is quite customizable which is great but kind of overwhelming for someone new, so definitely keep that in mind if you’re in the same boat as me (clueless) and maybe look into the different choices/options before going in!
so i’m glad the worker that chose me had good taste because she chose half of my bowl haha.
service was great, very clean environment that’s fully stocked 🙂 I went during lunch and it wasn’t that busy which was a pleasant surprise. but more people should come!!
