Everything was great the lobster was great the crab cakes were amazing, the clams however we’re not your typical clams , there weren’t full clams in there , the rib meal was good according to my father, but it’s more of a Bolognese pasta ordeal . No bad food just being honest, loved the place and the atmosphere and was very Happy with the food .
I love my margarita en the crab . So beautiful. To many fried food in the menú . No fan of their menu
Sitting outside on their deck on a warm and sunny day is so wonderful. Their location is incredible. It’s so lovely to watch the boats coming and going, as well as the ferry boats to and from fire Island going back and forth.
Their lobster bisque came in a very big bowl, but it was very thick and gloppy and ironically didn’t have any pieces of lobster! It was fine but not great. My son loved the rare tuna platter, and the fried seafood platter wasn’t greasy, but wasn’t that tasty either. The sauteed spinach was very very salty.
Our waitress was pleasant and attentive to every request that we made.
After you eat, there’s a lovely boardwalk to walk around the water with benches to sit on and talk while enjoying the view. The location really is exceptional.

Always a gorgeous view and the freshest 🦞 seafood …hang out upstairs on the deck and take in magical sunsets and listen to some of the best live music 🎶 around…Tuna tacos are not to be missed! Freakin amazing!!!

Eat well, enjoy the view…and have a fabulous drink…The wine list features some of our islands best wineries. Spritzes and Margaritas were delish..cocktails are well crafted and delicious…
My husband and I first enjoyed an anniversary dinner at Nicky’s a few years ago. We immediately became fans. Located on Bay Shore’s Bay, this lovely restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. We enjoy the outdoor seating so we can watch the boats go by and see Shelter Island across the water as we eat. Nicky’s food has been consistently delicious and beautifully prepared. The service has been delightfully good. In fact, our last waitress had a fabulous sense of humor in addition to being an excellent waitress. We always have a very enjoyable meal at Nicky’s and intend to go back for many more.
