Quaint, cozy cafe that felt immediately inviting. Clean and neat but huge disappointment to have the smell of cigarette smoke in the air. Ordinarily we wouldn’t dine in where this is so strong but glad we did as the food was delicious. Gracious, attentive host who is also the owner. He & his wife provide a taste of France to their menu selections. Plenty of seating along with clean, spacious bathroom. Breakfast menu does not have vegan options. 😕 If you like crepes and quiche, then you will want to give them a try.

I stopped here for a late lunch during a road-trip through northern NY in mid-April. I saw Quiche et Crepes’ sign on I-87, which prompted me to exit. I had no problems finding the restaurant, and parking was easy (it shares a lot with several other shops). The menu was basic. I ordered a broccoli and mushroom quiche, accompanied by tomato soup and coffee. Presentation was nice, and everything was very tasty. I was quite satisfied with my meal. I wasn’t going to order dessert, as I was full, but my server (who may also be the wife half of the restaurant’s owners, I’m not sure) was smart. She brought over a tray displaying samples of their pastries – small, personal-sized cakes – asking if I’d like one. Oh, they were so beautiful, I ended up ordering one to go (which I delightfully enjoyed that evening at home). The price of my meal was reasonable, and I’d return if I found myself in that part of the state again.

Amazing peaceful atmosphere on their patio with a water feature. Service was top-notch and very relaxing. Quiche Lorraine was absolutely the best quiche I have ever had in my life. Pair that with the delicious moist gluten-free crêpes on offer and it was the best gluten-free dining experience we have had in a very long time. Owners are amazing, friendly sweet and the food is delicious. You are missing out if you skip over this tiny little hole in the wall restaurant.

What an amazing find! I travel fairly often from New England to Northern New York and I now will be planning my trips to include a meal at this wonderful little French restaurant. After two meals my wife and I have now tried four main dishes and four desserts. They were all tasty, well presented and of the same high quality we grew to love in our travels in Austria, France, and Portugal. Roger and Evelyne are gracious hosts. The food is prepared quickly but really prepared for us not someone else. I can’t wait to get back and have my next meal there.
