Had the Sriracha Honey Sunrise, 2 eggs, Poppyseed. Very good! Am curious to try the other sandwiches at lunchtime. Will return.

I live in Brooklyn, NY but come to visit family in Buffalo a few times a year. I am happy to see that Bruegger’s has taken over from Bagel Jay’s. My first visit here was very enjoyable and I’ll definitely be back to try things again. I was never a big fan of the bacon, egg and cheese at Bagel Jay’s because they microwaved their eggs. Whether bacon, sausage or maybe I’ll try the brisket or ham, I want my egg actually cooked. Bruegger’s has an egg griddle and this makes such a difference. The bagel itself is still a little small, like Bagel Jay’s was comparing it to most NY bagels, but was pretty good. I also tried the hash brown and it was cold. Once I heated it up in the toaster it was a nice compliment to my breakfast sandwich.

When you order a bagel with cream cheese you expect it to have a decent amount of green cheese. The amount of cream cheese on the bagels we received is absolutely disappointing, If I were the store owner I would be embarrassed. When you ask …

Food is very limited as far as menu.
Service is very poor in the sense that simple orders take forever to prepare and produce to the customer.
As far as atmosphere it has a very poorly organized layout from start to finish. An example is the coffee bar is crammed into a corner hidden by a 2 door cooler. The pick up area for food ( doordash etc.) Is located in a place that kitchen staff has to walk into the customers space with little to no oversight by staff.
Last but not least the store hours are 6am-2pm part of the reason for this review is due to the fact that it’s now 6:30am and not open on time.
This place has pretty much nothing going for it other than the bagels are okay not great but okay.

Between the time that we ordered our bagels, and the order was fulfilled (which took over 15 minutes) most of the bagel varieties we ordered were now sold out. They attempted to substitute, but we were not refunded for the upcharge cost of the premium bagels, the bagels we received were not the ones we asked for even with the substitute, and we ultimately were shorted two bagels from our order. Customer service was also lacking. I tried to follow up with their customer service form twice, but have received no response. I like Bruegger’s generally, but I don’t recommend this location at all.
