This is a modern Greek restaurant with a mixture of popular traditional dishes – Like Gyro’s, Souvlaki, and Spanikopita. The parking is tight and gets full quick, so you may need to find parking out on Main street. The restaurant reminds me of a greek “Family Diner” style with their menu options, but the restaurant is updated with a modern ambience. Try not to be seated towards the rear of the restaurant, as the main entrance door is also there. So it’s a bit drafty from the cold outside air hitting your legs. This is winter of coarse, so I can’t say you would experience the same during the spring and summer months – Which they do have outdoor seating. The food however was fresh and not over cooked like some greek restaurants. I would pick this place over a traditional greek family diner, drafty or not.
So happy to welcome Acropolis to Main Street! Beautiful place to eat lunch, meet a client or have a drink between appointments! My server was Jolie and she was so friendly!! The Gyro did not disappoint! I will be back!
Went for breakfast on Sunday. Took a VERY long time for service, almost left.
Hostess put silverware on the table, no napkins, really. Overall, it took 2 hours with just ok food, would not recommend it, and definitely not going back!
We came in during Music on Main, and it was busy, but for the size of the place, and amount of people working, service was not great. Our server didn’t seem to know the menu or how to use her handheld. Appetizer took a long time to come out, and all we got was hummus. My boyfriend never got his soup before his dinner, and our Drinks didn’t come out until AFTER our food came. I tried to flag someone down, but was ignored, so got up and had to get my own napkins from the service station. I was a server and bartender for 12 years, and was very disappointed. We were excited to try this restaurant, but probably won’t return. Staff definitely needs better training.
A wonderful restaurant inside and out featuring Greek food. They serve breakfast all day, have a bar (Mimosas!), sandwiches, wraps, salads, etc. The outdoor patio has big umbrellas so you can enjoy your food in the shade. A side parking lot makes it easy in and out.
