Akron side walk sale. I had the one with bacon lettuce tomatoe and turkey on Texas toast. So you can understand how that can sound intriguing. However I really was disappointed. Beside being a skimpy sandwich it was also very dry. My suggestion is to reevaluate the dynamics of that sandwich.
Usually a food truck never upsets. But, when I pay $9 for a sandwich and $4 for a side of Mac & cheese I expect to be full. My sandwich was dry and unfulfilling. I am very disappointed.
I barely review places but the food and service was so good that this place is an exception. The staff were so friendly and I felt very welcomed! The value for the food was good and the atmosphere of the place was full of life and very cozy. The food itself was the perfect temperature and taste for the value you can get it at. This place is absolutely wonderful and we’ll definitely be coming back. All in all, very friendly and great vibes.
Okay just got out work super hungry so me and my wife look for a place to eat. We come to this restaurant/ diner or whatever it is, and then receive some nice service by a nice young lady and place our order. I LOVE Mac and cheese so that’s exactly what I got. We waited probably 30 mins playing games they have out on the table. Food comes and the lady hands me an extremely small bowl of basic elbow macaroni with ZERO cheese in it and a portion size for a six year old. I stared at it in awe for about 2 minutes before I asked her if I had made a mistake and gotten buttered noodles instead. She said no and said that was the last batch and would bring me some of the new one. I then waited another 15 minutes for her to “add and melt some cheese” on it but when she came back after the long wait with the new bowl, it was a completely different everything. New spiral noodles and not the flat old looking elbow noodles. These new noodles actually had a small amount of cheese on them. Needless to say…… the new bowl tasted the exact same as the other one….. like buttered noodles!!! No cheese sauce flavor, no seasoning, sh*t no flavor at all!!!! Literally no point in going there ever again. Definitely not a server problem just a management problem!!! P.S. having a box of craft Mac and cheese visible to customers is not the most ideal!!!
We had Cheesy Chick Food Truck come to my son’s grad party. Sydney and Will were amazing! It was *hot* and they were kind, quick, and smiled the whole time they were in my driveway. Everyone loved their sandwiches! I was the only vegan and mine were great too. Would definitely use them again!!
Went to the food truck on Thursday at the harbor in tonawanda.. got the Philly grilled cheese with Mac & cheese as my side that tastes like straight pepper water didn’t taste any cheese flavor, it’s not a creamy mac,was extremely nasty & very dry. taste like someone dropped the entire container of pepper in there..the Philly meat itself was good I feel like either they needa go lighter on the BBQ or mix it a little better before putting it on the bread..the sandwich was toasted well but overall don’t feel like the meal was worth the $14 or whatever it was I paid for it
