It was great. We had the combo Korean BBQ and the foods were excellent. It was perfect size for two people. I really recommend the Korean BBQ. The meats had really good flavor, we really liked the spicy marinated one. It came with rice and side dishes. We definitely would come back when we visit New York next time!
🍚 We came here for lunch and there was no wait when we arrive. We immediately was greeted and seated.
🍚 The place is very casual, hole in the wall feel, family run, don’t expect a fancy place. Tip: Don’t wear anything fancy here that you don’t want to smell like bbq later 👍
🍚 We ordered the bbq plate combo, Kalbi, chapchae, and seafood soup.
🍚 It was only the husband and wife running the whole place but service wasn’t terribly long.
🍚 Food is definitely 5/5 for Buffalo New York. We came from Houston so we were very impressed with the quality of food here. Very on par with some of the most authentic Korean food we’ve had.
🌮 Overall, it was a great meal. We thoroughly enjoyed all our dishes. Barley tea was a nice compliment. If you’re in Buffalo and craving some Korean Food. I would highly recommend trying out Korea House. You will love it 💯
My wife and I are huge food buffs. We were always talking about how Buffalo (area) should have more diversity when it comes to taste and experiences. This summer we were able to check out plenty of new restaurants in pursuit of our mission. Woo Chon is somewhere atop of our list. Korean BBQ is a great way to share and spend time with family and friends. The staff were really attentive and the food was to die for. We ordered the combo for 2, bone broth soup, and chicken fried rice. The combo came with 4 different meats and were the perfect amount for me and my wife(and I usually eat a lot!). The soup came sizzling and had a punch to it! Extremely homey and comforting that would taste better in the colder months. This will become our go-to when family and friends are visiting. Do yourself a favor and check out this gem of a restaurant.
My new favorite restaurant in Buffalo is Woo Chon Korea House.
I got warm vegetables/rice/chicken in a stone bowl. Along with the main dish you get refillable sides which include: Kimchi, mashed potatoes, fish sticks, pickled cucumber, bean sprouts and soup.
The service was excellent. Staff is friendly and attentive.
I highly recommend this place. I go here every year for my birthday and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing and there’s even a coat rack at the entrance. The staff are kind and professional. There are bathrooms but I’ve never used them so I cant speak on their cleanliness. I would
recommend calling beforehand to set up a reservation just to be safe since it gets busy during dinner.
