My wife enjoyed the shrimp and grits, and I the blueberry pancakes. We are completely impressed and satisfied. We also had a strawberry short cake and Palmieri for dessert, and it was worth the extra time. If y’all are ever in the area of the historic district, stop by and see Brittany, and she will bring y’all to a great table.
This place is super tasty and fresh! Some items are more pricey, but there are more affordable options too. The deserts are outstanding! Service is great…no complaints!
Saffron delivers a fantastic dining experience with delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. However, the server could have been friendlier. Despite this, the outstanding cuisine ensures that it’s still well worth another visit.
Falafel and hummus was great. Lobster & Crab salad sandwich was good, pasta salad good, just needed some seasoning. Reuben was tough and bread was soggy. Fruit cup mediocre.
Waiter was NOT friendly at all. He acts like he hates his job and we were a nuisance to him. Talked with table next to us before we left and they said the waiter was horrible too. He really should be in the back of the house. We decided to get dessert somewhere else that had a more welcoming spirit.
Almost didn’t make it to the table, the huge selection of desserts on display were quite impressive!!!
We were seated right away, Kiar was our waiter, very nice and extremely helpful in picking out food and desserts, great description of both to narrow down what flavors you’re looking for.
We got the lamb kabob plate and the Cornish hen kabob plate, and both were bursting with flavor! Nicely chared from the grill, well seasoned, good portion of meat and flavorful rice. Looking forward to going back soon!
