They do one of the best country ham and pimento cheese and pepper jam biscuits I’ve ever had and I assure you I am a complete and proper snob and I’ve eaten an awful lot of country ham biscuits in my day. And the pastries and bread are amazing too. I’d go back twice a week if I lived in Charleston. I would probably gain weight so maybe it’s better this way to only be able to visit when I’m in town, but it doesn’t feel better to have found one of the most perfect country ham biscuits in the world and to only be able to indulge so rarely. Do yourself a favor and have one for you and second one for me. And they use Benton’s country ham which isn’t my absolute favorite country ham in the world, but it is definitely top 5 and one of the few real country hams left on this 🌍.

I’m so glad to see the trend in area of not opening restaurants and bars just for the masses. They tell you upfront in the name it is “tiny” but the variety and flavours are BIG. Sweet Biscuit was unlike anything offered locally and was amazing. A Chocolate croissant is somewhat ubiquitous at bakeries but Welton’s dark chocolate version is the real deal! The also have to go lunch box sands that looked great. Looking forward to trying those, next

The cutest little spot! Saw a video on TikTok raving about it and had to visit. The folks working were so lovely and kind- politely answered questions about each item. We grabbed a sandwich, a strawberry biscuit, a slice of honey pie, a slice of olive oil cake, and two pistachio cream sandwich cookies + two iced coffees. Sampled a little bit of everything and loved every single bite- I cannot choose a favorite. 100% will be back! Thank you!

What can I say about this bakeshop that hasn’t already been said?! Hannah, the owner, is the sweetest soul. She is always happy to see customers and remembers things about you from previous conversations. She makes you feel like an old friend. Also, she makes the most amazing treats! From the croissants, kouign-amann, pasteis de nata, to the kolaches, chocolate chip cookies and the honey pie! It’s hard to choose a favorite! So I don’t – I just get them all. How does she do it??? I love her ability to mix and match flavors. Everything is always so fresh. I can’t say enough!

What a great place! It is tiny indeed. Tiny but mighty in quality of baked goods. We had the pistachio milk latte, biscuit with strawberry jam, pistachio Linzer cookie and a croissant. All of them were to die for. Best bakery in Charleston. I’ll have to return sometime for lunch because the sandwiches looked amazing, too. There’s no indoor seating so take your items to go or sit in the small alley outside with a few tables & chairs.
