I give every single Publix a five star rating based simply on how FRIENDLY their staff is. Every cashier is friendly, every stocker is super helpful, and the stores are always clean. I recently had occasion to utilize the catering department (Shana was amazing!!) for my son’s birthday and again, very friendly, helpful, and delivered exactly what I wanted!
Amazing time and amazing butcher. The older gentleman was super helpful and was extremely knowledgeable and we appreciate him helping us navigate how big the cuts of meat needed to be for what we wanted. Here is a photo of us trying to figure out how thick we wanted our steaks.
Excellent grocery that is amply stocked with a variety of products, and is always clean. The staff are always friendly and will greet you and assist you with your needs with a smile on their face. Sets the standard for cleanliness and customer service that a lot of groceries stores and retailers in general severely lack.
Great clean, very well neat stocked items throughout the store. Only issues is Publix employees need to be enthusiastic about doing their jobs, greet customers, say good morning, good afternoon or good evening when customers approach Publix cashiers to be rung up. Second issue is some employees at the deli are slow when making sandwiches, one of em she always be making a number of orders. Therefore customers are going to the other employee opposite of her to get their sandwiches made. Plus if you are waiting in line for sandwich, it’s best that you literally be in the line instead of being elsewhere. Then damn near having your childish tantrums. Grow up! What happened to the days when folks made their own sandwiches especially knowing you have mouths to feed. At least that way, the children don’t have to wait for a stranger to make them and their parents a sandwich because mommy don’t wanna make a sandwich or cook. And some of y’all customers act as if we’re still not in a social distance process anymore. I’ll turn around just to find somebody up that close behind me, step back and quit invading my space you’ll get your sandwich. And one last issue I’m addressing is some customers wait as soon as they get fully inside Publix like right after they come through the second automatic doors to begin coughing and sneezing. If you’re under the weather and know it please have somebody else who isn’t visit Publix and purchase whatever it is you need or want. It’s not fair to other Publix customers in Publix store and that goes for not just Publix on Harrison. But any location. Plus there’s like four or more Publix stores, but yet some customers prone to going to Publix on Harbison. Publix sandwiches is not that good as y’all make it seem and there is Firehouse Subs past Publix to get a sandwich. Publix is originally to shop at for groceries not stop by and just purchase a sandwich. Plus there is Planet Fitness some of y’all need to consider visiting and getting yourselves membership instead of waiting in Publix line for a sandwich. Y’all such a sandwich addict y’all would even walk as close to the windows not giving a care who is eating by the windows just so y’all can see if there is a long line or not. It’s not always bout sandwiches, chips and a drink. Consider cooking especially if you have children, cause overall as a parent it is your responsibility to cook for your children.
the deli is a hot mess, which is a shame…constantly out of ingredients for subs, or hot line food is empty/old. quick serve chicken is empty or only has spicy food. other than 1 or 2 deli associates, they usually seem to hate their job.
the rest of the store, including pharmacy is great.
