    So we have been Sam’s club members for a while now. I always show my app open to member screen as I walk on. Never a problem. I have come into Sam’s plenty of times before 10:00 am. So this morning, just a few minutes before 10, I get told I cannot enter because I’m not a “plus” member. Never knew there was such a thing. I wasn’t offered to “upgrade” I was simply told to leave and come back in a few minutes. With a very unpleasant person who seemed to be just living for the moment to tell someone to leave.

    The irony of this is, with it being so close to 10, I wouldn’t be checking out until after 10 anyway due to shopping. Just seems like the “rule” is more important than the common sense of how to treat customers.

    Guess we will go back to ordering supplies from Amazon.

    They had what I wanted, and with the Sam’s app, check put was a breeze. I enjoy shopping at Sam’s, especially with their app. I didn’t get gas this time, but when I do, I like how convenient their app is for that also. The only downside to that whole system is the lack of receipts, I do have to go on and email to myself and then print them.

    I’m done with this place. Initially bought a membership for the tire center. The tire center is horrible. Ordered some tires off the website, still waiting for them to come in (6 months later). Gave up and ordered another set. It did not get better when I went to get them installed. They take so long, and never called when the car was done. Leaving me wandering around the store for hours. The guys in the tire center were nice but seemed overwhelmed. Management should hire more people to work back there if the service is going to improve.

    The shopping experience is just as bad. They never have the items I’m looking for in stock, even though they are advertised on the website. Basic things like ground beef, and the famous rotisserie chickens. Prices on everything except a few select items are astronomically priced.

    I’m over it. It’s not worth the hassle of going here. I got my membership refunded.

    Cue the generic: “Thank you for the feedback, we will be sure to get this to the correct department for review. We appreciate your patience while we look into this, and we will use this feedback to make changes that will better assist our members.”

    Never had an issue before today. I’m not sure if policies have changed or what but basically I came in with my husband and toddler, toddler lagged behind so of course I did too. I grab a cart and the woman standing at the door asks me if I have a membership card (If I didn’t, how would I be able to shop here) why didn’t she ask my husband for his though since he walked in first? I asked if I looked homeless, she claimed it was for security? security? IMO I was being profiled for my tattoos and piercings and now I feel uncomfortable even being in there. If you’re going to ask one person for their membership card then why wouldn’t you ask everyone… SECURITY… I’m walking in with a 4 year old and my husband with killer calves walked in without any issue
