I didn’t get dessert at lunch today, but guess what I spotted leaving Olive Garden??? Nothing bundt Cakes was calling my name. It is such a cute little shop with a variety of items, specialty popcorn, cards, party supplies just to name a few. Bundt cakes come in 10 and 8 inch sizes, Bundtlets(individual packaged bundt cakes), and bundt cake toppers that are bite sized little cakes, that can be bought by the dozen. I got a chocolate chocolate chip and a carrot cake Bundtlet. The carrot cake with cream cheese frosting was delicious. On my next visit I’ll try the red velvet bundt cake.
On Thursday, March 7, 2024, around 2:50 pm, I had an awful experience at this location. While waiting in line, a lady was being served by the cashier. As I waited I was on FaceTime, speaking quietly, showing a friend the different cake flavors available. Heidi, the manager, seemed very aggravated and asked in a loud tone, “Can I help you?” It wasn’t pleasant; it felt more like questioning why I came into their establishment. I told her what I wanted and she placed it in a bag and placed it on the counter . After stating my order, her demeanor remained unpleasant with a very smirk on across her face. She instructed me to move up in line with another customer who was using a walker and still in front of me. I explained that I had to wait for the customer in front to move first. She then walked away. I decided to abandon my purchase. As I left, she told me to have a good day with a smile, as if she had accomplished something positive. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share this experience.
I visited this establishment today in the attempt to purchase a cake for my mother’s birthday. It was packaged up and get ready to pay but apparently they do not accept $100 bills. I am told it is because they have been experiencing problems with counterfeit money and offered that I pay with a card. If I wanted to pay with a card I would have. Can they not verify if cash is real or fake?? It’s sad to say because my family and I like their cakes but I nor my family will continue to support their business. I don’t feel welcome in a place that will assume I am trying to cheat them out of anything.
My first time trying Nothing Bundt. I ordered through DoorDash and the driver ruined my cakes. I sent an email and received a call from Heidy. She was so sweet and helpful. She replaced my order and even had her delivery driver come and bring them to me. Will definitely be ordering again! Thank you SO much.
Wonderful staff at this location. I visited with my toddler and they asked if he is allowed cake. They made him his own small bundtini. The staff even asked if I needed help to my car. It made my day to see such kindness. Thank you again!
