I love this place. Great bakery. The cherry datenut fruit bars are delicious. Just tried my slice of strawberry rhubar pie. Yummy! Their cheese crackers are awesome. I also got a no-sugar added cheesecake brownie and Pecan cookies. Haven’t tried them yet.

If you want delicious food, healthy choices, reasonable prices, and excellent customer service, please visit this wonderful restaurant that has been in business for several generations. I was in town from the Washington, DC area visiting family and my daughter suggested we have lunch here. I was blown away by their delectable bakery and in being greeted by Robin M. who told me the restaurant’s history, family, and food selections offered. We had lunch and then made our way back to the bakery to take home some sweets! Robin’s pleasant demeanor and patience was the cherry on top of a great experience. This is a must visit every time I’m in town, and I encourage others to visit and partake in some of their delicious food/bakery offerings. Thanks Robin M!

This is a really nice place to stop and get a little something to eat that is sweet. The icing that they use is extremely good!!! The atmosphere is very nice, quiet, and relaxed. The prices are a bit steep, but it is nice to stop in for a treat occasionally. I am looking forward to going back in the future hopefully with my girlfriend!!! It is a nice place for a romantic dessert! The selection is really nice!!! Thanks for the awesome visit!!!

This bakery delivers EVERY time! One of the last things my dad requested before he passed away was their Strawberry Rhubarb pie. He told us the German Chocolate was another one of his favorites there and we picked one up this weekend…..omigosh!!! It is DI-VINE! Without a doubt the BEST German Chocolate cake I’ve ever had; and I’ve tried a LOT 🙂 Moist chocolate cake with the most delicious pecan filling. Worth. Every. Penny. I’m from Atlanta, but have to stop in at Strossner’s to try something new every time we’re in town. Pictures do not do it justice.

I’m speaking purely on my experience with the deli, as that’s where I’ve been. I’ve heard their pastries are delightful, but I’ve only been a few times for breakfast/lunch and did not buy any. I will say that value for price ratio ranges drastically with what you get, so keep that in mind if you eat here. Some of my group when I went most recently got larger sandwiches that I would have been fine paying for their prices. Although, for the price, I would usually hope for an included side which here you have to buy separately. I got the pimento cheese sandwich/potato salad combo and for the $10.25 price was disappointed. It was a small sandwich cut in half (in half was expected – the size, not so much) and basically an ice cream scoop sized amount of the potato salad. So if you’re looking for a decent sized lunch, don’t go for that. It was good, but far less than what I’d hoped for. I will say the employees all seem nice and the service is quick. At least as a deli, there are better places around. It’s not somewhere I’d go out of my way to eat.
