Went to this store in Moncks Corner, SC and asked the employee William in electronics for a 75″ TV that I wanted to purchase. William responded “I can’t sell you one because I have no way to get it to your car”. I responded you are joking right? He said no I have no flat bed carts to get it to your car. I requested a manager and Williams response was what TV did you want, I can sell it but it’s going to be hard getting it to your car. I again requested a manager. He got on the phone and 15 minutes later another employee (I’m guessing, because he had no name tag on and was greasy and unclean. He asked what can I do for you? I asked if he was a manager and he responded no I work in the warehouse but they are going to want to know what you want. I responded a manager. 15 minutes later another employee walked up with an attitude and in a disgruntle voice asked what can I do for you? He did not have any management identification on other than his name tag stating coach. I explained the issue with him and his lack luster response was “sorry for your shopping experience, what can I do for you. I said nothing and left the store. I have shopped all over the United States at Walmart, including Hawaii and have never had such an experience as this. This is what I can assure you of, I will pay three times the cost of anything I need, but it will never be at Walmart.
Ordered four high end tires on line
Arrived at the Store in three days
Installed in less than an hour
You pay for the tires on the website
And you can pay for tire installation
Or at the store, when they do the actual installation, if you want to split up the cost
$28 or $18 per tire install, IIRC
Same as buying from Tire Rack and having NTB or Mavis install them
Windshield wipers were $31 installed
And the Tech drove my car around the whole parking lot to make sure everything was good
Very impressive
The Walmart Deli has Hot chicken biscuits for breakfast

The management here is absolutely useless! Did all the shopping, got to the register, meat won’t ring up. The man said, “My manager said get something else.” I’m sorry. WHAT?! Then proceeded to tell me there was a recall. Scanned ALL THE MEATS, NONE would ring up. Male manager that is working at 5:45 today said to me, “There is nothing I can do about it.” He never came back. Didn’t even try to help! I feel sorry for the employees under him. He did not want to help or even have the courtesy to say let me see what’s going on. He is incapable of diffusing a situation, he is ineffective, and quite frankly should lose his job! DISGUSTED WITH WALMART AT THE MOMENT!
This walmart recently had a massive overhaul and it looks fantastic, the way the store and check out is set up is the best I’ve seen a walmart been and the employees have been good. It seems like the barber shop is closed every time I go though and I miss that
I’m a nocturnal person, and this is the Walmart closest to me, I used to go here all the time after midnight, and was the only single place open. Since Covid, the store now closes at 11pm (like all Walmarts now, I know). Since that happened, I leave a 1-star “how was your visit” at the checkout prompt every single time, which is multiple times per week for the last 3 years. I will continue leaving 1 star at them every single time until they return to being open 24/7.
In any case, today I was unable to use the self checkout and leave a 1 star, so I figured it was time to go ahead and leave a 1 star this way instead. Lol. Return to 24/7 Moncks Corner Walmart, until then 1-stars will continue being left every time. I know you don’t want this, and you know I don’t want to do it, but it’s something I have to do. You understand.
Tell ya what, the first time I’m able to self check out at 2:37 AM I’ll even leave a 5 star on the machine, AND change this online review to a 5. Would you like that? 🙂
(Also, the new setup and layout and look of the store is both horrible and atrocious, worst looking Walmart I’ve seen. The rat maze funneling people is hella lame, and really kills the vibe. If you would change it back, that would be cool of you and would convince me to leave a second 5 star, assuming the 24/7 has also been remedied. Would you like that?)
P.S., I like the Alligator and Caribou painting, it’s a well-done fanciful depiction of what it would be like if those two animals could ever share the same climate or state. 🙂
