I had a good experience at this Walmart Supercenter, which is the more northern of the two in Mount Pleasant. It’s a very large shopping center and they have quite a lot of landscaping throughout, but walkways and cart corrals make it easy to be out of the traffic.

Inside, the store is well stocked (at least for what I was seeking) and I had no trouble finding things. Self-checkout worked well and I was on my way swiftly. Restrooms were clean.

I’ve reviewed over 200 Walmarts in the US and Canada. This one in Mount Pleasant is a good one.

Its wally world. Cant expect much. But if you need something in a pinch they got most everything. Just be careful in the bread aisle, i almost blew a chunk last week when i picked up a loaf and it had a ripped bag and mold spores went all over me. Found at least 4 severely molded loaves. How can it sit there long enough to get that moldy. The workers just don’t care. A manager told me that they can’t get any kind of help and bad help, just showing up, is better than no help at all. I quit buying food there.

Sadly, there are very few positive things I can say about this location. This store couldn’t be further from disability friendly! Don’t let the handicap parking fool you. If you park by the pharmacy side of the building, be ready. In the evenings, they block off the exit, and you have no other choice but to navigate the length of the store outside to get to your vehicle. Additionally, self check out is your only option, so be ready to scan and bag. And when I say bag, I mean it loosely. Often, there are minimal, if any, bags for use. I had to ask the gentleman stocking produce for a box or carry each item separately to and from my car. The employees are no better. I have come across four employees at best who seemed to care about customer service or their jobs in general. Of those four, three of them were young teenagers and working part-time or holiday hours. Yes, you can find items at discounted prices, but at what cost.

This is the LEAST helpful Walmart I’ve ever been too. Six people were waiting at the photo center and every employee that walked passed we asked for help and they ignored us or they asked us to go to the service desk. Once we went to the service desk they were not helpful either she just said “we don’t know what’s going on back there” finally a lady walked to the back and tried to help but it was the most ridiculous thing ever. She’s still looking for the photos as we speak.

Had the best customer support during a return with Avery. Went above and beyond to help me and made it so easy to have a great experience returning a heavy product. Thank you, Avery!
