I ordered 4 sandwiches for my family via delivery. All but one sandwich was wrong. My husband’s was missing all seasoning and sauces. My daughter’s Buffalo chicken was a small layer of chicken, burnt cheese and a drizzle of sauce. My sandwich was supposed to be the Green Goddess, instead I received a baguette with 4 tomato slices. This is not the first time we have ordered these items and did not look like this. This time I paid over $60 for these inedible sandwiches and am so disappointed.
Panera has always been our first choice for dinner when we don’t have time to cook. More convenient than a restaurant and better than fast food. However since we moved to Myrtle Beach in April we have been to Panera on Debo Dr. numerous times and have been extremely disapointed. On almost every occasion they have been out of various items. Multiple sandwiches, various soups, and many many times cheese for the french onion soup. I don’t know if the manager doesn’t know how to maintain an order schedule or if it is a sign of financial issues, but it is unacceptable. If you have seen my reviews, I do not bash businesses, but try to find the positives. So I will say the staff has always been pleasent and helpful. The restaurant mostly clean but if many of the items on your menu are frequently unavailable that is a problem. Finally the quality has dropped considerably. Sandwiches that are lacking in ingredients or quality have forced me to remove Panera from a dinner option. The two pictures show my selection and then my actual sandwich. For reference, I had cut my sandwich into thirds.
Got takeout through DoorDash. Ordered a bowl of soup and bread bowl of Mac. Also a sweet tea. Spent almost 30$ and received a half container of Mac and cheese and a bag of chips. DoorDash bag was sealed. Called Panera just to get on a phone with a women who’s very rude. Tells me they’re out of everything I got but was never contacted by Panera. Told me I could come pick it up even though right before she said they “ran out”.
Purchased a green goddess caprese melt sandwich, pictured below. Missing half the ingredients listed. Also purchased a smokehouse bbq chicken sandwich which is supposed to have onions, but did not. The amount of money they’re charging for these sandwiches is not reflected in the actual product you get. Avoid at all costs.
I went to the drive thru and taking my order was not an issue. I pull up and someone is in front of me and they had to be waiting longer before I got there. When I got my grilled cheese it was burnt! My soup was the only thing that was good. My strawberry smoothie was absolutely disgusting didn’t even taste like the strawberry smoothies they usually have. For what I paid for it shouldn’t have been more than $20 but it was.
