Doing some early Thanksgiving shopping, so I stopped at the Ingles in Powedersville to get in on the $2.98 Challenge butter price, and I was in the area. As my luck would have it, they were sold out of it. While I was three , I got a fried chicken breast and a salad from the salad bar. It was around 6:00 and the hot food was almost bare, the salad bar was skimpy too. The fried chicken was only ok with very little seasoning, the salad I was able to make was decent. It’s a big store with not the friendliest people working there. This is an out of the way supermarket from my location. I’ll stick to my local Ingles on Pelzer Hwy. in Easley.
Finally giving up on this place. It’s less than five minutes from us but it’s a constant problem with poor management. Latest examples, all of the rotisserie chickens are old according to the lazy drawing on the labels for the time. They literally have to just draw the hands of a clock to indicate the time but someone wants to forget to mark some and the others have a straight line that doesn’t even pass through the middle of the clock. It was 5:30 pm but these are marked with a straight line between the five and ten.. couldn’t be 550 because that’s in the future so I guess it’s sat since 10:25am.. another one marked straight between the 6 and 11.. can’t be 6:55pm because it’s 5:30 so it must be from 11:30 this morning. You’ll see in the image. They can’t even slice meat and cheese right. I ran an Ingles deli many years ago and the level of how poorly managed and unmotivated the personnel here is, is mind blowing. Such a shame. Publix off of Calhoun memorial parkway is worth the fifteen minute drive for us.
Now this! is a complete groceries store😁
This Ingles has everything. It has beverages that I haven’t seen in years, and it’s current stock (not old or out of code), that is awesome 👍
A wing bar made me smile, I haven’t seen that in some stores. It makes for easy meal options 🍗😄
I’ve seen olive bars and fruit bars elsewhere. The wing bar is very nice to have. So is the tomatoes bar, see the photos I’ve attached.
They have fig newtons! Last time I saw these were years ago, I’m glad they’re stocked here. A bulk nuts (produce) section and a good variety of apples 🍎🍎 makes for a great visit to this location.
My Ingles is always clean, well stocked, friendly staff and great sales, every week! My mother visited from Ohio and fell in love with the floral department. Management is doing a stellar job, setting the highest standards! Keep it up

Well hopefully Google maps will post this because for some reason I have reviews that have been held in pending for several months. This store is not as big as the Easley stores but they carry most of what you need and the staff has always been really kind to me. Make sure that you watch the on sale items because sometimes they will not show up at the register. Sometimes I’ll just take a picture of the tab on the shelf to save time on the sale items if it doesn’t show up. Overall I love having Ingles in our little community and I appreciate the pride and cleanliness that they show every day ❤️
