Cakes are really moist, and not too sweet. They are great for midnight snacks or early morning with some coffee. I truly enjoy try a different cake every week.
I had Tanja’s Bake Shop as a vendor at Bay Street Biergarten’s Mother’s Day Market and had the opportunity to try her fudge. It was delicious!!! I’m not a fudge person, but I ended up buying two boxes of fudge, one Peanut Butter and one Cookies + Cream. If you haven’t had the chance to try her fudge yet, it should become your top priority!!
OMG, Can this woman bake!! Everything thing she makes is amazing and sooooo good. Nothing over powering and just the right amount of sweetness. My favorite is her pecan butter cake and red velvet…..and ive tried a lot of them, let me tell you.
So at Holy City market there was this vendor with a variety of bake goods n samples to try, Tanja’s baked goods -well, was I in for a treat, moist, delicious, tasty, real ingredients, and reasonably priced – I purchased the blueberry n chocolate chip scones, they were a hit at the house- so I sent a note to Tanja that I wanted to get a lot more to take for our trip!
I also purchased fudge, after trying a sample- I’m not a fudge person but my husband n son- in- law are, so I tasted different flavors settling on the peanut butter fudge, n chocolate fudge- uhm good- they said it was delicious, it was, n I don’t eat fudge. The peanut butter tasted like real peanut butter, not artificial flavor. Chocolate was like a chocolate ganache. Can’t wait till my next trip to the Holy City market on Wednesday’s 4-7pm- I’ll be there for sure! What will Tanja be serving up next week- can’t wait to try the goodies! Decadent, n delicious-
