I have gone to Great American Cookie stores for over 20 years and always loved their products but this location is horrible and only gets worse. Stopped going there about a year ago because the cookies were never fresh. Decided to give them another try and it was worse than ever. The cookies and brownies I bought were stale and at least a couple days old. Hate leaving a bad review for a small business but there is no excuse when they sell products that are outright stale when there whole business model is based on fresh baked cookies.
I placed an order ((a week in advance)) for a custom cookie cake. I arrived at the requested time and date to a place that was under staffed and to a cake that wasn’t made. While waiting for the cake to be made ((well over 30 minutes past my pickup time)), four other customers came in and NONE of their pre-orders were filled either. It’s poor management to have an establishment understaffed during the holiday season!
i got food poisoning. cookies were not fresh and it tasted expired. i spent 30 minutes in the bathroom at work and i almost threw up when i got home. 0/100000000 DONT RECOMMEND!!! unless you love your toilet.
Literally comes down to how much the workers get payed and how much they actually care for their job, some do, some dont. Some days you might get amazing service, others you might get terrible service.
I never order from here but my dad always orders cookie cakes for my kids for their birthdays. Everytime I have an issue with the cakes not being ready on time. Today was the worst. My dad originally ordered the cake to be picked up tomorrow but called 3 days ago to change it to one day earlier (today). The girl he spoke to said she would change it. Well I show up today to pick up the cake and they don’t have the order. We went in circles trying to figure out what happened. They ended up having his order but it was under a different name and it was for tomorrow. They ultimately made the cake for me but it still wasn’t exactly what he had ordered. It was a terrible mess and I told my dad to never order from here again.
