Got two bagels (everything, plain) and the biscuits with gravy.
I got cream cheese on the everything bagel and it felt like a little too much. The taste was good, but I did end up removing some of the cream cheese because some of my bites were 80% cream cheese. My sister got butter on hers and it was dripping with butter (less of a concern since the bagel aborbs a lot of it)
The biscuits (english muffins) and gravy was very tasty and what I’d expect out of a place in the South (coming from someone from Texas)
My neighbor and I frequent this place for our “Guy’s Breakfast” spot. This is your typical breakfast pastry, bagel, eggs & bacon spot with some extras on the menu. They also have a nice lunch menu. The service is always consistent and welcoming.
A local favorite, we had breakfast here, it’s nothing fancy but it’s decorated in fun way, food is great, service is friendly and fast.
I haven’t had many dishes of shrimp and grits in my life, but my god this shrimp and grits was the best I’ve ever had. I don’t know what they put in that sauce but it’s crack. The shrimp was cooked to perfection. The grits were creamy and delicious. The food was easily 10/10.
One of my local favorites. Pictured is the lamb gyro and Cuban 1. The sides were coleslaw and tomato, feta, cucumber salad. Desert is banana pudding cheesecake.
The gyro lost a star because of how dry it was. Needed a lot more taziki sauce since it only had some in the very middle.
Banana pudding cheesecake was chefs kiss!!!! Highly recommend.
The restaurant itself is smaller so expect a crowd and with the door opening and closing it gets warm in the summer. Regardless we will be back!!
