I can’t even find the words to describe how good AND beautiful this cake was! Mel was quick to respond when I emailed her about a cake for my daughter’s first birthday, I sent her an inspiration picture and I was speechless when I picked it up! I don’t know what her secret ingredient is but I could eat that cake every single day for the rest of my life, I can’t wait to order another! Thank you so much Mel!
Echoing many of the same sentiments from other reviews…the cake we ordered and received is a work or art. You hate to even cut into it. But when you do, that’s when you get to experience the second work of art in the flavor profiles. What we appreciated most was that Mel’s cake is not sickeningly sweet, like most other cakes, and especially compared to highly decorated cakes. The cake was amazing. Our Son absolutely LOVED it (Om Nom is his favorite currently) and it was an all around hit at the event. Pick-up was a breeze and the cake was very nicely packaged for transport. We’ll definitely contact Mel again for future celebrations. Thank you very much for a wonderful experience!
I can’t even tell you how GOOD her cakes are!! Coming from someone who doesn’t like cake, there is something different about her cakes that makes them absolutely phenomenal! I ordered a Barbie cake for my daughter’s birthday, and the cake was so beautiful! My daughter loved it, and I don’t plan on ever ordering a cake from anyone other than Mel for future birthdays!! Thank you SO SO much, Mel!!! Your talent is unmatched!!
Wonderful experience all around. Was able to order a cake for a wedding with only a week notice. I never felt like a problem when trying to order; which I did feel when I tried other places. I was even given options I didn’t consider. Was a very positive experience. Cake was a hit. Everyone loved the flavors. It was ready on time. Communication with bakery was so easy.
