I asked for my bacon to be crispy and well done but I think they went the extra mile to make sure it was not cooked at all. Gross. Aside from the undercooked bacon my burger was good and the fries were great.
My husband had eggs, corn beef hash and pancakes all of which restored his faith in breakfast after visiting Girts and Grace in Mt Pleasant.
Waitress was not attentive and seemed a little annoyed I asked for a refill on tea. We did order an entire pie to go so will update with that review later.
Ordered the fried shrimp dinner. The mashed potatoes were terrible. Instant and watery. The shrimp was overcooked. The asparagus was the only good item.
It’s been a minute since my mom and I been to Perkins. Which made me realize how much I missed there food. Our waitress was really nice I think the only thing that bothered me was. When it was time to pay for the food after we finished. I waited at the front desk for about 15-20min and older gentlemen walked beside me. So one of the ladies aided to him first then myself. I was speechless but Luckly it didn’t bother me because I do have patience. But if it was someone else I wish they would have at least have more staff up front then just one.
All the staff are very friendly. Good food. Relaxing ambiance.
I ate by myself. I ordered the classic cheeseburger with fries and onion rings and a soda to drink. The total on this came up to just over $23. The food was good. Though I never received silverware and I had to ask for a napkin, the …
